Here are some laser tag tips for playing in our laser tag arena in Flagstaff, Arizona. We use a Delta Strike laser tag system. Laser Tag is a contact-free game. Using laser lights to tag other players. Most of our games use a point system and a timed game. Our black-lit arena at FlagTagAZ can be played with kids or adults. There is no specific minimum age, but sometimes kids 5 or younger do not like the dark, black-lit arena. Players must be able to wear the laser tag vest properly. Players must follow all laser tag rules. Laser tag games can be set up with teams or free for all games.

Laser Tag Tips for Beginners

  1. Wear comfortable shoes (sandals are allowed, just not prefered)
  2. Wear dark clothing to better hide in the dark, although the black vests will cover most of your shirt area.
  3. You can always be shot from anywhere, find locations to limit your vulnerability. Targets on the vests are on the front and the back of the vests.
  4. Be prepared for sneak attacks from behind, above, and around corners.
  5. Always keep moving, this makes it harder for an opponent to shoot you.
  6. Blaster is the better weapon to use, even though it is supposed to have a shorter range its range is still good enough to shoot across the top story of our arena.
  7. The phaser does have an overheat feature, the only way to overheat the phaser is with non stop use or rapid fire (you will be unable to fire the gun until the gun has cooled, seen by bar that shows up in phaser/blaster section of the screen). Rapid fire is a power-up you can get by shooting the power-up stations.
  8. In order to shoot the tank you can shoot it at any of its lights, when the lights are red the tank is firing at you from those lights, when the lights are green you can shoot the lights back for some points.
  9. Follow all safety rules!
